# How to Record Damaged or Lost Raw Materials

Learn how to keep accurate records of any raw materials that are damaged or lost to maintain precise inventory levels.

### Steps

1. **Click on "Inventory" from the side menu and click on "Damages & Loss". This will take you to the Damages & Loss page.**
2. Click on the "Record Damages / Loss" button on the top right corner. This will take you to the Record Damages / Loss page.
3. Fill out the form:
   * **Source Type:** Select source type.
   * **Issue Date:** Add the issue date and time.
   * **Material Name:** Enter material name.
   * **Quantity:** Enter the quantity.
   * **Loss Type:** Select loss type.
4. Click on "Submit" to record the products as damaged. This will reduce the stock of the product in the inventory.
