How to Record Damaged or Lost Raw Materials

Learn how to keep accurate records of any raw materials that are damaged or lost to maintain precise inventory levels.

Steps

  1. Click on "Inventory" from the side menu and click on "Damages & Loss". This will take you to the Damages & Loss page.

  2. Click on the "Record Damages / Loss" button on the top right corner. This will take you to the Record Damages / Loss page.

  3. Fill out the form:

    • Source Type: Select source type.

    • Issue Date: Add the issue date and time.

    • Material Name: Enter material name.

    • Quantity: Enter the quantity.

    • Loss Type: Select loss type.

  4. Click on "Submit" to record the products as damaged. This will reduce the stock of the product in the inventory.
