# How to Delete a Damaged or Lost Item

### Steps

1. **Click on "Inventory" from the side menu and click on "Damages & Loss". This will take you to the Damages & Loss page.**
2. Click on the three horizontal dots at the end of the specific item you want to delete. This will show a dropdown.
3. Click on "Delete" from the dropdown. This will show an alert asking you to confirm the deletion.
4. Click on "Delete" to confirm the action and complete the deletion.

Items deleted from the Damages & Loss list will be added back to the stock based on the source type. If the damaged or lost item was recorded from the inventory, the quantity of the deleted item will be added back to the stock in the inventory. For the source type "raw materials," the quantity will be added back to the raw materials stock.
